Giving back to the Community

Blake counts it a privilege to give back to the local community, home to many of our young call centre agents.

In order to make a contribution, the Blake Domestic Charity Committee has regular fund raising initiatives in place to raise money to donate to a variety of community projects and welfare institutions.

In 2009, Blake contributed to various Welfare and Children’s Homes in the district. Some of the initiatives included providing much needed computers, repairing the roof and upgrading the bathrooms of a local safe-house for abused women and children, supporting Winter Warmth by distributing blankets to the needy, sponsoring a Youth Programme, collecting and purchasing toys for the annual Toy Story drive, and assisting staff in need.

In the spirit of the 2010 Soccer World Cup, we held our annual Soccer Team Challenge, which not only offered fun for staff, family and friends - along with some serious soccer, but also raised funds for Charity.
